Jennifer Gadams, OD

Dr. Jennifer Gadams has practiced optometry for over 27 years. She began her optometry career in Virginia Beach, where she participated in several contact lens research studies for Allergan and Biocompatibles. She originally joined Hampton Roads Eye Associates in 1999 and has worked part-time in the Hidenwood, Gloucester, and Oyster Point offices. She recently completed a three year interim pediatric position at the Oyster Point office, and will be returning to adult care there in fall of 2023. She medically manages ocular emergencies, cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and other eye diseases and disorders. When she is not working, Dr. Gadams enjoys traveling with her pilot husband, studying languages, singing in her church choir, playing pickleball, and keeping up with her two young adult sons.
